Meat cooking 101
Everyone loves a juicy, medium rare Ribeye, or a freshly-caught, flakey Sea Bass. Yet so many of my clients tell me that they are intimidated by cooking meat at home! I have put together this exciting cooking class to teach people how to safely & deliciously prepare a variety of proteins.
In our class, we will learn about how to purchase & prepare Steak, Chicken, & Fish, plus a few delicious sauces to pair. We will prepare “Marry Me Chicken,” a Tuscan classic, and discuss how to tell when your Chicken is safely cooked, both by feel and by temperature. We will practice searing & basting your preferred cut of Steak, while building a beautiful Pan Sauce. Finally, we will prepare a Crispy Skin-on Trout with Herby Chimichurri Sauce.
After we have cooked this variety of delicious proteins, you will be able to sample from the feast we have prepared, while sipping on Classic Cocktails and enjoying Sides prepared by Chef Ryan. Before leaving, Chef Ryan will fully clean the kitchen, as well as provide each guest with copies of the day’s recipes.
